At Grand Bay Baptist Church, we believe kids aren’t just the church of tomorrow—they’re a treasured part of the church today!
GBBC Kids is where faith and fun come together, helping children discover God’s love, build lasting friendships, and take their first steps in following Jesus.
Through safe, engaging, and age-appropriate programs, we come alongside families to nurture young hearts and minds. Whether it’s in the nursery, Sunday School, midweek gatherings, or special activities, our desire is simple: to create spaces where kids feel valued, connected, and excited to grow in their faith.
Here, every child is a treasure, and every moment is an opportunity to connect with God and with one another.
Sunday Mornings at GBBC Kids
We love having children be part of our Sunday morning worship! Families begin the service together in the sanctuary before children are invited to head to their age-appropriate programs.
Our dedicated volunteers help create a welcoming environment where children can explore the Bible, ask questions, build friendships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.
Little Gems Nursery | Ages 0–3
Our nursery provides a caring and welcoming space for our youngest children. Little ones are lovingly cared for while parents participate in the worship service.
Treasured Connextions | Age 4–Grade 2
Through Bible stories, music, games, and hands-on activities, children begin building a foundation of faith as they discover who God is and how much He loves them.
Kingdom Explorers | Grades 3–5
Our older elementary children are encouraged to dig deeper into God's Word, ask meaningful questions, and discover how following Jesus makes a difference in their everyday lives.
Your First Sunday
Visiting a new church with children can feel like a big step, and we want to make your first experience as easy and welcoming as possible!
Here's what to expect when you arrive:
- Visit the Welcome Centre
Stop by our Welcome Centre when you arrive! Our friendly team will be happy to greet your family, answer any questions, and help you find your way.
- Register Your Child
We'll ask for a few basic details to help us get to know your child, including any allergies, medical needs, or other information that will help us care for them well.
- Receive Your Name Tags
You'll receive a name tag for your child and a matching parent pickup tag. This helps us make sure children are safely released to the right adult at the end of their program.
- Enjoy Worship Together
Start the morning worshipping together as a family! During the service, children will be invited to join their GBBC Kids groups for age-appropriate Bible teaching, activities, and fun.
Our volunteers will help guide children to their classrooms so everyone knows where to go.
A Safe Place to Grow
Your child's safety and well-being matter deeply to us.
Through our Safe Harbour Policy, we are committed to creating a safe, caring, and respectful environment for every child who participates in our ministries.
Our children's ministry volunteers follow established safety procedures, including screening and appropriate supervision practices. We also use a child check-in and pickup system to help keep children safe and give parents peace of mind.
